ACTIVITY 3_ PROCEDURE IN AutoCAD

Procedure:
 Circle Radius - 15
 Hatch 1- Honey; Scale – 5
 Hatch 2- Solid; Scale – 1
 Location: (0,0)

Step #1: Location (0,0) and Radius 15

 Command C and type (0,0).


 After that, click ENTER.
 Then, type 15 to create radius 15.

Step #2: Create (3) three circles with a location of (0,0) and Radius of 15

Note: Check the midpoint, endpoint and center or rather, osnap.


 Type COPY or CO copying the first circle to have the second and third circle.
Drag the center to the side aligned to the created line that is quadrant for the
alignment of the two circles.
 Thus, do it again for the third circle. Type COPY or CO and drag it making it 3-
circle venn diagram. Drag the center to the side aligned to the created line that is
intersection for the alignment of these circles.

Step #2: Hatch the overlapping parts of the circles; specifically, the inner overlapping
part of the circles.

 Command HATCH or H to the command line


 Thus, pick the inner overlapping part.
 Next, hatch it in Honey with the Scale of 5.

Step #3: Hatch the overlapping parts of the circles; specifically, the other overlapping
part of the circles

 Again, command HATCH or H to the command line


 Thus, pick the other overlapping part. Specifically, the other overlapping part to
each other.
 Next, hatch it in Solid with the Scale of 1

Step #4: Creating the square. Inscribe the 3 circle in a square

 Type REC in command line, and then draw rectangle outside the three circles.
Make sure it is closer to the the three circles.
