The Outlining Method

I have been using this method of note-taking since high school and I can say that
this is the method that suites me. There are strengths and weaknesses for this method
too, let me enumerate it for you. Outlining method can be very useful in reviewing for
exams, doing essays and paragraphs, reporting in class, and familiarized important
words. It is easy to organize if done correctly, it is best use if the details are too narrow
or long. And it is easy to use if the lecturer present their lecture in an outline form.
Hence, it is very effective for us students when it comes to note-taking inside a class.
While, the weaknesses of outlining method; it requires more focus and time for listening
to the class so you can organized it very well. It may not show the relationship by
sequence. It is also hard to do if the lecturer is teaching very fast.
