1. The Galapagos Islands are located on the Equatorial line in the Pacific Ocean, at an
approximate distance of 1,000 kilometers from the Republic of Ecuador.
2. Formed by 13 main islands, 6 smaller islands and 100 islets.
3. Its origin was due to underwater volcanic activity.
4. You can find a wide variety of animals and plants both on the islands.
