If you have ever imagined what it would be like to walk on a beach of soft white
sand, where the waves of the sea touch your feet, generating a feeling of peace and
tranquility, you will surely want to visit the Tayrona National Natural Park, a place
considered as one of the most beautiful in the world

And it is that this park, located in the foothills of Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta,
which rises approximately 5,650 meters above sea level, offers a unique
experience for lovers of nature, unique landscapes and sunsets. unforgettable, who
will be able to witness the great natural and cultural riches that adorn the place.

One of the first things you should know about Tayrona Park is that it is part of the
ancestral territory of the Kankuamo, Kogui, Wiwa and Arhuaco indigenous
communities, who inhabit the Sierra Nevada, the territory where the park is
located.
The easiest way to get to this Sanctuary is from the city of Santa Marta, the second
oldest city in Latin America. There you can take a bus that takes approximately 40
minutes and that will take you to the main door of Tayrona, from which you will
have access to Cristal Beach, Cañ averal Beach, Arenilla Beach, Reefs Beach and
Cabo de San Juan Beach considered the main beaches of the park.

In this place, in the middle of the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea, an
imposing green hill rises

Tayrona is also a perfect place for water sports, diving or scuba diving, and be
surprised by the marine life that lives under the waters. In addition, in Neguanje
Bay you will meet expert guides who will teach you to mask and discover the great

To make the most of your tour of Tayrona Park, we recommend that you follow all
the recommendations of the local guides. Keep in mind that not on all beaches you
can swim and that there are specific areas to stay or camp.

I hope you visit the park as soon as possible and have a good time in this paradisiac
place
