girls. One Tuesday morning, the mother picked a coin of one thousand shillings
and gave it to the boy. “Alex to go to the shop and buy eggs for breakfast” said
the mother.
He got the money and went to the shop which was fifty meters away. He met a
hungry dog and ran away. While running, the money dropped out of his pocket
and got lost.
The twelve year boy started crying bitterly and went back home to tell the mother
what had happened. His face was covered with tears. “Oh my son, it was the only
money in the house,”” said the mother. It is very unfortunate that you will not
have good breakfast today.” She added. They all had dry tea and indeed it was a
bad morning for them.
