One of the food establishments in our locality where I can observe the following prerequisites
program (PRPs) is the Vdine Restaurant. The restaurant has clean facilities and equipment, so no cross
contamination will happen. They maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant and make sure that there
are no pests around. They make sure that staff should be in good condition when going to work because
if some of the staff are ill, the disease can be transmitted through food, especially now because there is
a virus that is easily spread. They maintain hand washing before preparing or handling food. Staff also
wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as facemasks, and they use protective clothing such as
hairnets and aprons.
