Repetition, pattern, and rhythm can be seen all around


the countryside. Repetition refers to repeated lines, shapes, colors, textures,
or objects. Pattern is created when repeated lines, shapes, colors, or
textures are combined. Rhythm is a combination of repeated lines, shapes,
colors, or textures but with some differences such as height or width. It also
show movement.

In your MAPEH book, do the task in Activity 2 page 103. (Deadline of

Texture in Drawing

m Recognize texture of a drawing;


m draw with texture; and

Texture is the art element that refers to how things


feel or how they might look on the surface.
a. Tactile texture refers to the actual texture. You may feel the texture
by touching the objects.
b. Visual texture refers to the texture of objects
perceived without touching it. You can determine it just by looking at the
objects. You can use cross hatching or dots (pointillism) to create visual
texture.
