PREFACE

In the midst of explosive growth of information sources on the World Wide Web, more
and more action such as human communication through mails and messengers along with
various day to day applications like online ticketing and other educational activities are coming
into existence. For the success desired in these areas there is a need for faster system that can
process data easily and quickly and give better result. There is a need for system which can
provide user the exact result without any partiality.

This project is an integral part of our curriculum as per the given syllabus of our
university for pre final year students. It provides an opportunity to reflect the theoretical and
practical knowledge gained by the student during his/her academic career in this institute. It
helps one in creating their own ideas and implementing upon those. It deals with an important
aspect the student should be able to design on his own and be able to suggest new ideas to
manufacture a given component in the light of improved techniques.

Here owing to its advantages and help in creating an innovative mind one should always
try to take opportunity as a task to develop his skill in particular field.

Being a student of 4th year engineering we have selected ‘’ONLINE MOCK TEST’’
unit which can be applied in the colleges and schools for conducting online test.
ABSTRACT

The expansion of World Wide Web has resulted in a large amount of data that is now
freely available for user access. Everything is converted into web in which single copy of data
can be accessed by several users. So it has become very important to devise a technology in
which several candidates will be able to appear in test simultaneously. This project is developed
to meet this requirement.

The Online Mock Test software project, is aimed at building a utility that can
be used for evaluating the performance of candidates on any type of topics with multiple
choice type questionnaires as web based application.
