Introduction:

Multinational Enterprises (MNEs) are the globalized enterprises which operate globally or within

a larger region abiding by each country’s human resource policies and international law. The

multinational enterprises which are operating in the MENA region are in a large number due to

the huge influence of Arab world in world’s economy. Due to the huge market of oil and gas, the

MENA region is considered to be the significant. The unemployment ratio among the young

population of MENA region is quite high due to several reasons, and HR policies are the reasons

for the resistance of human resource management activities.

Issues Pertaining to IHRM and its Challenges:

When an enterprise working in a country and that enterprise is already have branches in different

countries around the world, or any enterprise which is producing or delivering goods to different

countries, that enterprise will be said to be multinational enterprise. The enterprises which are

operating in MENA are struggling with different HR systems and policies like selection and

recruitment, talent management, workforce diversity and conflict management. Prominent of

them are selection and recruitment and talent management. International human resource

management is managing those risks but are unable to control because of the inefficient HR

system and unfavorable policies which makes the enterprises uncomfortable
