“Code of Ethics”

Introduction

Explanation: Using the NAEYC Code of Ethics as a reference, I wrote my own personal code

of ethics. I split my code of ethics into four subcategories to focus on and they were: children,

families, colleagues, and community and society. In these 12 statements, 3 for each subcategory,

I outline some of the things that are most important to me as a professional working with

children.

Standard: This artifact demonstrates my knowledge and disposition as a current and future

professional that works with children and their families. I am passionate about working ethically

and respectfully. This code of ethics demonstrates and outlines the things that are most important

to me as I move forward in my career.
