Reflection Activity

The term "globalization" refers to the integration of people, businesses, and governments. This
integration takes place on a worldwide basis, which is very noteworthy. Furthermore, it is the
process of extending the company globally. Many businesses expand abroad and adopt an
international image as a result of globalization.

Globalization, which is loosely defined as the worldwide integration of economies and society, has a
significant impact on the lives of young people. Youth have an unclear economic and cultural
interaction with the globalizing globe. On the one hand, they are the most adaptable and may be
the most able to take advantage of new chances. They are the most technologically educated
generation; they profit from economic progress; many travel throughout the world for employment,
studies, exchange projects, and vacation; and telephone and the Internet allow them to stay in
touch with friends and relatives who live in other countries. On the other hand, many young people,
particularly in underdeveloped countries, have been left out of the digitalization and modernization
process and lack the economic capacity to take advantage of globalization's potential. The
distribution of economic prospects, migration, youth culture and consumerism, and global
citizenship and activism are four effects of globalization on the lives of young people that are
examined in greater depth below.
