REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)

1.Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), an autonomous
body mandated for development of Water & Hydropower Resources under the
administrative control of Federal Government of Pakistan, invites Request for
Proposals from the consulting firm(s)/ Joint Ventures registered with PEC in
accordance with PEC bye-laws for the consultancy services of Preparation of
Feasibility Study, Detailed Engineering Design, Tender Documents & PC-I for
construction of drainage network in Taluka Ubaro, Daharki, Khangarh, Mirpur
Mathelo of District Ghotki Sindh”. It is mandatory for local firms to be on the Active
Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Method of selection will be
Quality and Cost Based Selection Method (QCBS-80:20) with single stage two
envelope procedure.
2. Request for Proposals documents, (containing all details, description of
assignment and evaluation criteria) are available for the interested consulting firms
at the address given below. Price of the Request for Proposals document is Rs.
2,000/- (non-refundable). RFP document can also be downloaded from
www.wapda.gov.pk free of cost.
3. The Request for Proposals, prepared in accordance with the instructions in the
RFP documents, must reach 519-WAPDA House, Lahore on or before 1100 hours
on December 01, 2021. The Technical Proposals will be opened on the same day at
1130 hours. This advertisement is also available on WAPDA website at
www.wapda.gov.pk and PPRA website at www.ppra.org.pk.
