ABSTRACT
This article presents as it is the process of purchases in Seguros Falabella Ltda., besides the
legal part, we will also be able to see how the suppliers apply to that company, their
transparent requirements of hiring for the purchase of supplies, Based on a manual which
is issued with the purpose of regulating in a transparent, general, objective and known in
advance the commercial relations between insurance Agency and its suppliers for the
purchase of items.

INTRODUCTION
The insurance agency Falabella LTDA. is a multinational which has been in the Colombian
market for 10 years its social purpose is to promote the holding of insurance contracts in
the name of one or more insurance companies.

1.1 Policies and procedures

 Purchasing Policy

behalf of the supplier, except for exceptions agreed and specifically quoted in the

received by us at full satisfaction.
F. The expenses for the mobilization of personnel for the provision of the service are the

withdrawal.
(d) Association: the provider shall respect the rights of employees to associate, organize in
unions and bargain collectively in a legal manner, without penalties or interference,
According to the laws and regulations of the Republic of Colombia and the current
international treaties.
e) Involuntary Labor: the supplier shall not use forced or involuntary labor, either from
prison, slave or any other form of forced labour.
F. Health and Safety: The provider will provide employees with a safe and healthy
workplace, in compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations.
G. Remuneration: The provider recognizes that wages are essential for employees to meet
their basic needs. The supplier shall, at a minimum, comply with all applicable laws and
provisions regarding wages and schedules, including those for minimum wages, overtime,
maximum hours of work and other elements of remuneration. It will also provide the
mandatory legal benefits.
H. Protection of the environment: the Supplier shall conform to all applicable laws and
regulations relating to the environment, with increasing standards of protection of this
kind.
Other laws: The vendor shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including
those relating to the manufacture, pricing, sale and distribution of items. All references to
"applicable laws and regulations", contained herein, include local and national codes,
regulations and provisions, as well as applicable international treaties.
1.1.3 Hiring
The purchase order or contract represents for the insurance agency the commitment
