Every year on a Sunday in May or June, in
towns in the south of Spain, the local
people celebrate Corpus Christi, a
traditional holiday, with a long, slow walk
through the streets. But, in one small town,
Castrillo de Murcia, they do something very
different, very unusual and very old – the
festival started in 1620! What do they do?
Well, they put small babies in the middle of
the main street. Then a group of men run
down the street and jump over the babies.
The men wear red and yellow clothes and
the festival has a special name –
