1. ACTIVITY

CBN is a Bolivian company that produces beverages. It is in charge of the production,


distribution and sale of its products, the main product is beer.

2. HEAD OFFICE

CBN operates eight plants, but its main production centers are in La Paz, Santa Cruz and
Cochabamba. The headquarters are located in La Paz city, in Montes avenue.

3. RESEARCH CENTER

It has a modern laboratory for quality control, currently it has five analysis areas, which are
equipped in terms of materials, reagents and equipment, that are located in the
headquarters.

4. EMPLOYEES

CBN generates more than 1,700 direct workers, more than 6,200 indirect workers and
30,800 induced employees.

5. LANGUAGES

Its main language is Spanish, sing modern terms according to young people.

6. MAJOR MARKETS

It is aimed at all people who are of legal age, that is, over 18 years of age in Bolivia.

It also exports products to Argentine, Germany, United States of America and Brazil.

7. MAIN COMPETITORS

The main competitor of the CBN is the Brazilian Beer Colonia, from which 180,000
hectoliters are imported, and at the national level they compete in the market with Potosina
beer.

8. ADVERTISING
CBN promotes its products through classic media such as television, radio, newspaper,
posters, and also uses social networks, which today are the best way to reach more people

10. LOCATION AND DISTRIBUTION

CBN has eight plants within Bolivian territory, five of which are breweries, located in La
Paz, Santa Cruz, Cochabamba, Tarija and Oruro; two are for soft drinks, located in
Cochabamba and El Alto; and the remainder is the aluminum packaging plant located in
Oruro, on the Vinto highway.

Its main distribution center is located in Potosí, but every plant takes place in this process,
moving it by trucks that transport the product to supermarkets, stores and liquor stores.

2020 Turnover

The beer business at the local level had a decrease of -8.8% compared to the previous year
(291 thousand HL), due to two external eventualities that were the social and politic
problems and also the Covi-19 pandemic.

On the other hand, it still deals with the constant presence of smuggling at the borders.

Exports fell down, as the local market continued to be prioritized, however, a search
campaign for new customers was launched in the external market.

Soft Drinks

Regarding the soft drink business, the volume again grows by 12.1% compared to the
previous year, this growth occurs regardless of the external factors described above. It was
developed based on the continuity of strategy and impulse that was given to the direct sales
force at the national level.
