In the video interview, Steve Jobs emphasized how the company as a whole collaborates
ideas and supporting it in order to make something useful that can help the company grow. He
said something about trusting his employees and letting them do their work without watching
them. That kind of leadership builds the confidence of other members in the company to make
use of their creativity and talents on their craft, which leads to a handful of new ideas and
innovations that can truly contribute on making the quality of the company’s products and
services better. I believe this type of Steve Jobs’s leadership greatly contributes to Apple’s
success, he does not manipulate or gain control of his employees, but he trusts them in
constructing ideas and he listens to their opinions that the company can use to gain advantage
in the market.

Another aspect that Steve Jobs also mentioned in the interview is his connections with
people and teaming up with them. Teamwork is indeed very essential in making a business
grow, having organization and management is vital to make a good teamwork. Steve Jobs
mentioned that he arranges 3-hour meetings with certain people in the company’s
departments once a week, and they let each other know what is happening in each department
and what each and everyone is working on. With that, quality and control are maintained, and
everyone is updated about the company’s progress. That strategy to me is also one of the key
factors that made Apple grow as a successful company, and there is no doubt that the
leadership that Steve Jobs implemented to Apple will continue to help this company.
