PARENT-TEACHER PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT


ON TRANSITIONING FROM BLENDED TO MODULAR DISTANCE LEARNING
SY 2021-2022

I. Objective: To Transition from Blended to Modular Distance Learning

A. STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR LEARNERS

1. ATTENDANCE AND PUNCTUALITY


• Regularity of attendance and punctuality are required in all classes.
• Habitual tardiness shall not be allowed. The teacher concerned shall call for the student for a student-teacher conference.
• If a pupil/student who has been absent in class with valid reason, the parent or guardian will notify or call the class adviser.
• In the event a student occur absences from class with no valid reason, the adviser will set a conference with the learner for update and monitoring.
Then, a parent-teacher conference will follow discussing interventions/recommendations on transitioning from blended to modular distance
learning.

2. ON-LINE CLASS REQUIREMENTS


• Have laptop or desktop computer with enabled web camera, and smartphone or cellular tablet at home to be used for the daily on-line classes
• Have good/stable internet connection at home
• Have personal email accounts to be used for registering and accessing with the identified online platforms for synchronous and asynchronous class.
• Answer given activities and submit outputs as agreed by subject teacher/class adviser

B. STANDARD REQUIREMENT FOR PARENTS

• Provide learners with laptop or desktop computer with enabled web camera, and smartphone or cellular tablet at home for learner’s
use
• Must have good internet connection at home
• Must have designated learning space at home, preferably with table for the computer or laptop, chair and other learning materials
• Have email accounts and know how to use them.
• The email account of the parent will be used for registering and accessing with the identified online platforms for synchronous and
asynchronous learning, since learners whose ages are below 18 are not recognized to create email accounts.
• Have knowledge about the internet, World Wide Web and how online learning works
• Have time to monitor attendance, guide and assist the learner with his/her daily learning tasks.
• Communicate regularly with the teachers to report or clarify things related to the learning task.
• A Parent-Teacher Conference is set in relation to addressing absences of learners in class. In the event a student occurred absences
from class with no valid reason, a parent-teacher conference is required to provide interventions/recommendations for the betterment
of the learners’ responses to learning and a transition is recommended from blended to modular distance learning.

C. STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR TEACHER

• Prepare the class master list with complete contact, information about the learners and their parents/guardians such as: contact
number and email account of parents/guardians and older siblings/ relatives living with the family and their contact numbers and
educational qualifications and complete residential address.
• Provide to the learners the needed soft copies of the Self-Learning Modules (SLMs) and Simplified Self-Learning Modules (SSLM) and
the electronic copies of the Video Lessons (VLs), textbooks and any available learning resources in school, for free.
• Have knowledge, understanding how to use the internet, and social media platforms.
• Know how to organize and facilitate learning activities using Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Google Classroom, Edmodo, Moodle, and
Schoology.
• Have knowledge on protocols during synchronous and asynchronous online learning and know how to implement them.
• Have good internet connection at home and in school. Prepare the class program which reflects the schedule for synchronous online
learning and other online and offline learning activities.
• Regularly monitor each learner’s learning progress using the Daily Learning Progress Monitoring Plan
• Prepare online-based assessment/test using appropriate online/offline tools and platforms.
• Provide technical assistance to parents on the use of appropriate materials and equipment
• Prepare checklist of expected academic and behavioral outputs for monitoring.
• Use teaching strategies and skills development activities to meet the student’s needs.
• Regularly communicates with learners and parents, after checking learners’ outputs and portfolio. Provide immediate feedback online
or through other means of communication to learners and parents/guardians
• Provide interventions such as remediation and enrichment
PARENT-TEACHER PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT

Having known and discussed the requirement standards for Learning Delivery Modality for On-line Learning , and as partners in giving
the Basic Education Learning Continuity Program (BELCP) to our learners, we, the parents and teacher of Grade 9 Arcega
willingly support the learning modality program of our school by submitting to the recommendations of transitioning from blended to
modular class for the positive learning performance of our learners.
