WEARING A MASK TO PROTECT

OURSELVES FROM COVID

Belhaj Omaima Essaad

Introduction

The new covid 19 virus is from the coronavirus family, it is an infectious

disease that attacks the respiratory system and causes fatal complications.

This virus was first detected on December 31,2019 in Wuhan China, then it
began to spread rapidly in several countries including Morocco, and this
endemic was considered a pandemic by the World Health Organization.
state actions

As many countries, Morocco declared a State of health emergencies and

containment to stop the spread of this virus, so it has closed these borders.
This confinement has caused a strong recession on the Moroccan economy,
and despite all this Morocco helped these citizens, work in the formal and
informal sectors through compensation.
After lifting the confinement, the public was forced to wear masks and always
keep the distance between them, but seeing that the vaccine is open to
Moroccans,
state actions

many people begin to forget the fact of wearing the masks and take the

necessary measures, especially vaccinated people, but it should be noted

that the vaccine does not protect people 100%, and it has no influence on

the variants of the virus, the thing that pushed the Delta variant to become

dominant in Morocco.
Our task

Our country has done what is necessary to keep the situation under control by
taking all the necessary health, social, economic measures, and our task is
summed up by respecting these measures, namely the obligation of wearing
the mask, not only because the State wants it but to extend our life and the
life of our loved ones, due to the fact that several families have lost their
members, So we must be aware and under orders so as not to return to zero
point.
