The legend of the Ayar brothers

It all started after a strong flood, when four young men appeared, the Ayar
brothers together with their wives:

Ayar Manco and Mama Ocllo, Ayar Cachi and Mama Cora, Ayar Uchu and
Mama Rahua, Ayar Auca and Mama Huaco. They were looking for land, they
ran into trouble on their way.

First Ayar Cachi, was the strongest brother, and after a dispute he was
locked in a cave. After that, Ayar Uchu and Ayar Auca, were petrified by not
showing respect to a stone idol.
Finally, Ayar Manco, was the only brother who arrived in Cusco and found
good lands. After sinking his golden staff, he founded Cusco, capital of the
Inca Empire.
