2021 Goals – Foundational Plane
Product:
• Build the foundation for the Intelligent Suite / CPA (e.g. ODM Adoption, MDI, Graph, Extension Hub, Service Mesh, API GW, DPP, Business Event Bus)
• One Strike: Move Neo from GMP to CCEE.
• Stabilize Neo (quality, security) and evolve it (e.g. cross-consumability, migration support) in order to retain our customer base and help them move off.
• Stabilize Cloud Foundry (e.g. extension landscapes) and evolve (e.g. CF buildpacks in K8s) in order to retain our customer base.
• Drive aligned runtime strategy with cross-consumability and delivery of services.
• Deliver a proof point for micro core platform “Atom” MVP integrated with DxP in a new regional deployment.
• Make Graph entry point for ODM-based APIs, master data changes and events, incl. event subscription

Quality:
• Ensure security and compliance (fulfill Crown Jewels requirements).
• Avoid downtimes.
• Resolve customer issues quickly and proactively.
• Increase automation.
• Implement a BTP Core-wide quality and test strategy (incl. e.g. UX, integration and scenario testing).
• Grow quality mindset by offering enablement, education and show & tell sessions.
• Don’t lose sight of our installed base.

Transformation:
• Contribute to the Cross Product Architecture (CPA) workgroups and initiatives.
• Ensure common understanding of our strategy.

People:
• Fill all vacant positions, hire with increased focus on early talent and on female talent
• Grow existing talent and create an optimal working environment in terms of work culture, learning and feedback
• Create a mindset of a product-centric platform where platform teams care about LOB requirements as well as closely collaborate with teams of LOBs
