Republic of the Philippines Province of Hlocos Norte MUNICIPALITY OF NUEVA ERA OFFICE OF THE MUNICIPAL MAYOR EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 2021-22 CREATING THE LOCAL INTER-AGENCY COMMITTEE (LIAC) FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE RESETTLEMENT/RELOCATION SITE FOR INFORMAL SETTLERS PROJECT AT BARANGAY POBLACION, MUNICIPALITY OF NUEVA ERA, ILOCOS NORTE WHEREAS, Sangguniang Bayan Resolution No. 2019-04 dated January 16 declares and authorizes the use of the parcel of land owned by the Municipality of Nueva Era located at Brgy, Poblacion, Nueva Era, locos Norte comprising an area of 39,934 square meters covered by TCT No, 023-2015000045 as the Resettlement/Relocation Site for Informal Settlers: WHEREAS, Sangguniang Bayan Resolution No. 2013-64 dated August 30, 2013 endorses the Proposed Resettlement Assistance Program of the Municipality of Nueva Era, Ilocos Norte to the National Housing Authority, Regional Office, Baguio City; WHEREAS, the National Housing Authority has approved the grant of financial assistance to the municipality for the development of the Nueva Era Resettlement Project and allocated the amount of P24,972,288.00 to cover the construction cost of 64 duplex housing units on a 10,415 square meters of the 39,934 square meters property of the municipality; WHEREAS, the Municipality of Nueva Era and the National Housing Authority, Regional Office, Baguio City has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement on December 27, 2019 providing the rules/guidelines on the implementation of the Nueva Era Resettlement Project; WHEREAS, pursuant to existing policies on resettlement projects, there is a need to create a Local Inter-Agency Committee to provide the necessary coordination, craft policies to support in facilitating, implementation and monitoring of the project, NOW THEREFORE, I, ATTY. ALDRIN R. GARVIDA, Municipal Mayor of the Municipality of Nueva Era, pursuant to the powers vested in me by law and ordinance, do hereby order Section 1. Creation of the Local Inter-Agency Committee.
