1. Preliminary Remarks
At the time of publishing there are still a few particularities which ought to be taken into ac-
count when using ZUGFeRD 2.1. These particularities, however, do in no way constrain its
applicability and only applies to the mentioned circumstances.

2. Profile MINIMUM and BASIC-WL: TypeCode

In Germany, the ZUGFeRD XML-files of the profiles MINIMUM and BASIC-WL are not consid-
ered as valid invoices. This explains why the following element is limited to code “751” (post-
ing aid) in Germany:

rsm:CrossIndustryInvoice/rsm:ExchangedDocument/ram:TypeCode

No Schematron rule to validate this has been defined as yet because other codes may be
used in countries outside of Germany. Please bear that in mind if you as the user are creat-
ing the XML.
