Grip Rule

Right hand grip rule is a special rule (shortcut) to

determine the polarity of a magnet.
1. Imagine you are gripping the solenoid with your right
hand such that your curl your fingers in the direction of the
current in the solenoid.
2. The direction in which the thumb points will be the North
pole of the magnetic material
