The chemestry can be a problem to the environmental damage if it exercied irresponsibly, so, that’s why
the environmental chemestry exist; and i think that in my career specifically at univalle this can be
promotes supporting and promoting research groups like:

Grupo de Investigación en Contaminación Ambiental por Metales Pesados y Plaguicidas(GICAMP) and

Grupo de Investigación de Procesos Avanzados para Tratamiento Químicos y Biológicos(GAOX);
GICAMP specializes in contamination of camps, like the contamination by organic molecules and
metals, phytopesticides that summarized are plants with repellents properties, recovery of envirioments.
GAOX They specialize in photocatalysis, and they use it to phototreatment of water and soil to the
minerallization and degradation of toxic substances, and desifection of water. Groups like these are
necessary if we want a resposible chemestry.
