and to improve that it is important to construct supporting facilities one of those and
most important one is public library .

In the context of Arbaminch it is sensitive issue that should be addressed, and in our
previous study /analysis we have emphasis the significance of providing public
library and also study and gathering space in Arbaminch.

We have seen these projects’ worthiness from 3 aspects

What is the Social aspect of this project?

✓ It increase social interaction and education reflect in there are a lot of peoples
come and gathering to get knowledge
✓ The most important thing in here is this kind of project help to pass knowledge
from generation to generation
✓ Also help to create a well literate man power in all aspect
✓Promoting every needed information for students and for the community.
Quality of education: public libraries and activities on their helps the student to
get and read different books and also providing comfortable reading space and for
the community it provides positive use of leisure time which enriches knowledge
and those in adult education.
regeneration: part of a wider program to revitalize an existing city or town center
or to assist in the Introduction formation of a new community gathering space , to
attract students, youths , children’s , and so on.

What is the economical aspect of this project?

borrowing materials from library rather than having to buy them and the
availability of on print materials such as audio books and video tapes and also
newspapers save individuals significant expenditures.

Introduction

Arbaminch is one of the most known places in Ethiopian in which large amount of
production is held in the field of agriculture (fruit cultivation) and in different other.
Large amount the community depend their life on production this fruit for a long
period of time. But as its large production and land use its hard to say Arbaminch as
city and the community benefit from the farming as expected so, in order to
rehabilitate the farming and production process it’s too important to follow new
approach and technique with the aid of technology, and one of the ways to achieve
that is constructing manufacturing and processing of raw fruit materials into to juice
and related products from direct chain between farmers and the manufacture.

What is the Social aspect of this project?

The adoption juice manufacture to Arbaminch fruit farming benefits the society in
significant amount. It motivates the uses to join I n the farming and manufacturing
process in which it increases the amount of employment in the community.

What is the cultural aspect of this project?

As we know every society has its own unique character in terms of culture. we can
make Arbaminch one of the cities that have its own character by adoption of its main
wealth which is fruit. The aim is making Arbaminch like those cities for example
jimma is known for its coffee production.

What is the economical aspect of this project?

As the economy of the farmers society rely on the farming fruit large and usage its
important to adopt such manufacturing in order to increase revenue for both farmers
and entire city, and constructing such manufacturing near to farming reduce chain
of fruit selling by brokers.
 3. GUEST HOUSE ON RIVER SIDE DEVELOPMENT

Introduction

Arbaminch is one of the places in the world where it is worthy of seeing and
having fun around. In fact, it is one of the best tourist destinations. So, providing a
safe and sound place for them is the main reason of this proposal. Even though,
most tourists are not from Ethiopia and one of the main reasons we found is that
most couldn’t find appropriate places to stay for days considering moderate or low-
priced hotels with a satisfactory service they can get. It offers quality service with
great hospitality

What is the Social aspect of this project?

Throughout the whole time we have been staying in this beautiful country
arbaminch, we saw how the people can kindly treat.

1. Experience in knowing of contenting new people and share what they have
like foods, traditions, ides. Etc…
2. Society will experience living with diversity people/environment
3. Opens opportunity for loads and international visitors to have more homely
environment where they may share facilities with hosts

What is the cultural aspect of the project?

1. Since the working culture of arbaminch peoples (specially the youth) is low
it can improve that because it is going to have some service giving programs
in it (offices, tourist guiding center, Cafeteria and restaurant, playground,
etc….)
 2. It can create a culture on how to recycle waste and use it effectively. (Since
there is going to be too much of trash coming out of tourists.)
3. To show Ethiopian’s culture for the tourists
1. It serves not only to accommodate but also attracts tourists to experience
local culture when they visit remote destinations
2. For visitors with high cultural distance staying in guest houses perceived a
higher level of exotic local culture and high sense of home compared with
regular hotels. Sense of home encompasses feeling of warmth and safety for
guests.

Since it is going to be designed for all peoples found on different economic levels
it is going to include lots of activities.
