Information Systems

Prospective students are interested in information systems major because information systems is a
field that combines computer science with business and management. In this department, we will
learn how to identify the company's business needs and processes based on the company's data,
then design a system that fits the company's needs. Besides learning the programming techniques,
we are also required to study the business processes that exist in the company. Furthermore,
information systems graduates also have enormous career opportunities. There are many variations
of work that we can take such as programmers and Business Analyst, so we should be proud of this
major.

The amount of salary for Information systems graduates is also one of the reasons I wanted to enter
this major. The amount of salary is around Rp. 5,000,000, with a job as an information technology
staff in a company. However, this amount really depends on the abilities and experiences you have,
as well as which area you work in. Due to these reasons, I am motivated to study in this department
because aside from gaining knowledge about information systems, I can also gain related skills on
how to learn about data scientists, programs and other career paths.
