IV. Learning Activities

Discuss/ Enumerate your duties and responsibilities as a student and as a Filipino citizen. What difficulties do you face in
the exercise of these duties at present?

My duties and responsibilities as a student and as a Filipino citizen are primarily being a good student, to study well
and share and apply my knowledge and skills to help others. To be an active member of our society by practicing my right to
suffrage and to share my opinion to certain decisions in the society. The difficulties I face is mostly environmental and being
able to be patient despite these times and sometimes the temptation to be complacent and ignorant when I’m too
comfortable to where I am. It is given to be more efficient to face these difficulties when you have strong mentality and the
heart to help. Through this we sometimes struggle on being both a good student and a good citizen because of having

jobs, no food to eat, and because of lockdowns many are stranded, with these hindrances, positivity is the key to survive this

wrong to bribe government agencies? Answer in not less than 5 sentences.

If my boss tells me to offer a bribe to a government agent to build and operate business in our city I will
tell him that it is not right to bribe and also it may let us go to prison if we are caught by the authorities. The
alternatives are to follow the right procedures to get the permits. Another one is to prepare all the necessary
papers to be submitted and prepare for inspection. Yes, it is convenient to bribe, but it has many disadvantages
as well. But when you follow the right and legal procedures, there will be no worries at all.
