Workshop Instructions
First Task – 45mins
Stick two MDF sheets together with double sided tape.
Draw a wave/curve on the top sheet of MDF with pencil. The curve needs to
start and end 19cm tall (1cm from the top edge of the sheet). Design the curve
however you like along the 55cm length, as long as it only consists of smooth
curves.
Once you’re happy with the curve, trace it with permanent marker.
Use the scroll saw to cut out MDF along the curve. Take your time for a clean
cut.
When using the drill press, make sure to use the clamps to secure your
material.
Use the drill press to drill two 4.5mm holes in MDF sheets, 5cm from the edge
and 1.5cm from the bottom. Drill a 4.5mm hole in each of the two spacing
blocks, 5cm from the edge and 1.5cm from the bottom.
