One way to keep colors organized and show
how they are related to each other is with a
color wheel. Here are some fun facts you might
not know about color!
Three colors on the wheel are called primary
colors. All of the other colors on the wheel can
be made from these three. They are red, blue
and yellow. Any color made by mixing two or
more of red, blue and yellow is called
a secondary color.
Did you know different colors can actually
affect your mood and even your health?
They can! Here are just some of the ways
COLOR colors can make you feel:

ME IN! Red
The color of danger and anger, red
can make your heart beat faster and
raise your blood pressure.

Orange
This color can make you hungry, so
you will eat more oranges!

Yellow
Pleasant and cheerful, yellow can put
you in a better mood. But babies cry
more in yellow rooms, so I guess they
want to redecorate!

Green
Green is said to be good for the eyes,
so you will see that cabbage coming
before it hits you!

Blue
Blue calms you down too. It is also
supposed to make you less hungry,
which might be why there aren’t a
lot of blue foods!
Purple
Purple can help you think deep
happy thoughts, as well as
inspire creativity.
