CYCLONE RESISTANT BUILDING CONSTRUCTION

ABSTRACT

The aim of this study is to investigate the

present housing condition to develop and
establish a comprehensive, safe and
economical design concept, so that people
under poverty can build structurally robust
house to resist high speed wind within their
affordable limit. As you can see cyclone
resistance can be incorporated into concrete
building structures or into the more traditional
wood framing design. In the case of concrete
construction, this can be incorporated during
the pour of the slab. If the concrete is poured
before the ground settles, it becomes very
impervious to tremors. This means that after
the concrete is poured and allowed to dry
completely it becomes impervious to all soil
pressures.
