Jim would wear that shirt if it suited him.

John can’t speak English. He doesn’t go to classes.


John could speak English if he went to classes.

3. Susan can't go to the next town. There's no bus.
4. I won’t finish the book. It isn't very interesting.
5. Richard will go by train. His car is being serviced.
6. John can't catch up. His scooter isn't very powerful.
7. George doesn't feel well. He eats all the wrong foods.
8. David isn't learning anything. He doesn't attend class.
9. Peter can't take a holiday. He has too much work to do.
10. I can't phone Don. I don't know his telephone number.
11. Jill always makes the same mistakes. She isn't corrected.
12. Gordon can't buy that coat. He doesn't have enough cash on him. .
