WORK FLOW: Addition of New Born Baby

Process Description Timeline

EFU (Panel Hospital): Will inform BSS regarding Panel Hospital:
Intimation birth of a new born baby in a panel hospital. Within 2 weeks of
to BSS birth
EFU (Non Panel Hospital): Will inform BSS
regarding birth of a new born baby upon Non Panel Hospital:
receiving maternity claim. Within 2 weeks of
receiving the claim.

Intimation to BSS: BSS will contact the relevant employees via 2 days
Employees email/telephone call and seek approval for
addition of the new born baby.

Employee: In case employee wants to enroll the

New Born Baby’s new born baby, he/she will share child's name
and date of birth with HR. Within 1 week
Details

HR: HR will update information on BEAMS

& premium deduction will start.

HR: HR will update information on BEAMS 1-2 days

Update Information & premium deduction will start.
on BEAMS

BSS: BSS will share the updated name & other With effect from
New Born Baby‘s date of birth.
necessary details of the baby with EFU & the
Enrollment with EFU
baby shall be enrolled effective date of birth.

Note: In case a new born baby requires any medical treatment during this period of enrollment, EFU shall seek
approval from BSS.
