Using the references above, choose a strategy that you like to use for DAY 1 of your signature assignment and plan with your group.

Modified Opinionaire We will have a printed-out survey with all 7 ancient wonders
Exit Ticket listed. There will be a picture listed with the name. The students
Think Pair Share will tell us if they have heard of these wonders before and rank
them by interest. After the students have filled out the survey,
they will discuss their opinions with a small group (3-4) for about
5 mins. After the 5 mins have passed the students will come
together for a class discussion where each group will share their
collective favorite and least favorite wonder with a small bit of
reasoning as to why. DIRECT INSTRUCTION LESSON ABOUT
WONDERS After the lesson students will rerank the wonders.
The teacher will group students together by interest. Within the
groups, the students can decide to work in pairs or groups of up
to 4. The teacher has the power to add or take away students
from the group. Exit tickets will be group paper with names,
contact info, and chosen wonder.
