Objectives:
1. Describe the major organs of the respiratory system
2. Locate respiratory structures on a chart or model
3. Demonstrate the structure of respiratory organs in a preserved specimen (optional)
4. Trace the movement of air through the respiratory tract

Materials:
1. Atlas of Human Anatomy
2. Anatomy and Physiology book

Procedures:
A. Using the aid given, study, locate and label the structural features of the respiratory tract in a
mid-sagittal section of the head showing the respiratory structures.
B. Using the aid given, study, locate and label the structural features of the following organs
showing the respiratory structures.
