“Knowing about noun, verb, and adjective”

1. What is noun ?
a word that refers to a person, place, thing, event, substance or quality e.g.'nurse', 'cat',
'party', 'oil' and 'poverty'.

• Example : Aple, Air, Airport, Black, Bed, ballons, ball, buffalo, baby, book, bank,
chocolate.
2. What is verb ?
a word or phrase that describes an action, condition or experience e.g. 'run', 'look' and
'feel'
• Example : cook, call, play, sing, run, walk, read, eat, write, achive, add
3. What is adjective ?
a word that describes a noun e.g. 'big', 'boring', 'pink', 'quick' and 'obvious'.
• Example :
1. adorable menawan, manis sekali
The baby is so adorable (Bayi itu amat manis sekali)
2. beautiful cantik, indah
Rianna has a beautiful voice (Riana memiliki suara yang indah)
3. clean bersih
We have to always keep the house clean (Kita harus selalu menjaga rumah agar
tetap bersih)
4. dirty kotor
Nick has to wash his shoes, because they’re so dirty. (Nick harus mencuci
sepatunya, sebab sudah sangat kotor)
5. easy mudah
How was the test? Was it easy? (Bagaimana ujiannya? Apakah mudah?)
6. fabulous hebat, menakjubkan
Have you seen Tom’s new movie? It’s fabulous! (Sudahkah kamu menontoh film
baru Tom? Menakjubkan!)
7. great hebat, atau besar
I really like his performance; it’s so great! (Aku sangat menyukai penampilannya;
hebat sekali!)
8. handsome tampan
Adrian is very handsome, just like his father. (Adrian sangatlah tampan, sama
seperti ayahnya)
9. long panjang, atau lama
Where have you been? Brian has been waiting for so long. (Dari mana saja kamu?
Brian sudah lama menunggu)
10. old tua
So your mother is 60 years old? She doesn’t look old! (Usia ibumu 60 tahun?
Beliau tidak terlihat tua!)
