Based on our readings, share a picture* of something in your environment

that protects your health. This should be a picture that you have personally
taken in your surroundings (i.e. at home, in public, at the gym, in the park, at
a store, etc.).

 Which health issue(s) is/are being addressed?

 Providing evidence (i.e. journal article), is this protection/intervention
successful and are there limitations to its success?

Discussion - Module 2
In 2014, lead in Flint, Michigan's city water created an absolute crisis. Six
years later, the community is still recovering from these health outcomes.
Reviewing the linked material below (and researching on your own, if you'd
like), please describe at least three social determinants of health that were
tied to this health issue.

Furthermore, how could this crisis have been prevented?

Discussion - Module 6
Explore another country's healthcare system and explain how it differs from
the U.S.

For example, are there different methods of financing, insurance,

reimbursement, delivery, costs, patient choice, administrative costs? Please
see Table 11.1 in the book for comparison. You may discuss Canada or the
UK, as seen in the book, but I would encourage choosing another country if
able!
