students? (50pts)

The Rizal law instilling patriotism among tertiary school students is effective because
some of them need to be inspired to become good people. There are so many books
that were written by Dr. Rizal, and it might be best to know more about them. It will help
them to become more responsible and to love our country because of his heroism. It is
important to know our history so that it reminds us where we stand and that we are
alive.

2. Compare and contrast the views of those in favor and against RA 1425,
considering the context of the 1950s; Would similar arguments still have force
today? (50pts)

Some of them are similar because some of Dr. Jose Rizal's works and writings are inspiring for
the young and it is happening today. It is said that the Rizal law is still in favor because they
need to know the history, especially for the youth that need to develop their minds on how Dr.
Rizal saved the country. More than any other period of our history, this needs to be
remembered and for re-redication for the youth that are still studying.

3.  Identify the three important points of the author cited in the Republic Act
of 1425. In each number, EXPLAIN how it is being relevant to the present
situation. Make it brief and very clear. (50pts)
One of the important points the author cites is the concept of nationalism. In order to
educate students about the concept of nationalism, it needs to be a law in the country. It
is relevant to the present situation to continue to know the history of the country and
inspire the youth to be inspired in all aspects by what Dr. Jose Rizal did to this country.
