Definition of terms

Physical fitness - the body is healthy, flexible, strong, and doesn't get tired easily.
Recreational Activities - activities that people refresh their bodies and minds and make their leisure time more
interesting and enjoyable.
Sedentary Behaviors- a unique set of behaviors that have negative effects on health such as driving automobiles
instead of walking, high screen time on computers, televisions, and/or smartphones.
Fit - in good health, especially because of regular physical exercise.
Cardiovascular Endurance - ability to exercise without becoming overly tired because your heart, lungs and
blood vessels are healthy.
Muscular Strength - ability to move and lift objects and measured by how much force you can exert and how
much weight you can lift for a short period of time.
Flexibility - refers to the mobility of your muscles, which allows for more movement around the joints.
Body Composition - refers primarily to the distribution of muscle and fat in the body.
