I learned a lot as I read the chapter 3 that Sir Chris told us to read.

It is about Creating a
Positive Classroom Culture and how important school culture is. Well, School culture is
significant because the environment in a school has an impact on everything that occurs there.
Teachers' interactions with one another, students, parents, and the community all contribute to
the formation of school culture . It tells how the students adapts perspective consciously and
unconsciously just by going to school and socialize with one another. It is also stated that there
are certain knowledge that might put the students in danger in terms of how they behave and
their experience will lead them to generalize things without concluding. R.S Barth(2002) writes,
“A school’s culture has far more influence on life learning” which is true, we spend a long time
in school more than we spend time on our home. As we socialize, our classmates influence us
with their culture and behaviour (positive and negative). Generally speaking, school cultures
can be divided into two basic forms: according to the glossary of education reform it can be
positive cultures and negative cultures. Numerous researchers, educators, and writers have
attempted to define the major features of positive and negative school cultures, and an
abundance of studies, articles, and books are available on the topic. As I continue reading the
chapter, my idea about positive classroom has increase. Positive school culture can be credited
as conducive to professional satisfaction, morale and effectiveness, as well as learning,
fulfillment, and well being. Positive classroom aims to make the student feel protected and
discrimination free environment where they can also have best learning environment.
