Title: 4-Day DIVISION TRAINING WORKSHOP OF MULTI-GRADE TEACHERS ON

PROPER UTILIZATION OF MULTI-GRADE LEARNING PAC

Description:
The Division of Misamis Oriental aims to have a unified approach in teaching
Mpupils/students in public secondary schools aligned in the K12 curriculum. In
coordination with the Magna Carta of Disabled Persons, the division has been assisting the
Public secondary school teachers and administrators in the implementation of the K12
curriculum in their schools taking into consideration RA 7277. Now, Mis Or is still doing its
best to continue uplifting and spreading education to all specially the Special students by
training these teachers in the hope of aligning their teaching approaches for the 21 st century
Special learners.

Objectives:
This training workshop aims to:
a. Revisit and assess existing programs on inclusive education and adjusted curriculum for
transition program.
b. Orient the participants with the current trends and early intervention to children with special
needs.
c. Equip them with knowledge on the preparation and Implementation of Individualized
Education Plan (IEP)
d. Adopt inclusive education, classroom medication and transition program for Secondary
Education
e. apply all the necessary skills in the running of the program.

ON LITERACY SKILLS DEVELOPMENT AND ORIENTATION ON PROPER USE
OF MULTI-GRADE LEARNING PACKAGE

II. Rationale:

The Division of Misamis Oriental aims to have a unified approach in teaching

Multi-grade pupils in public schools aligned in the K12 curriculum. Teachers shall
be oriented on how to use learning package materials effectively in the multi-grade
classrooms and familiarize with the content and features of the materials provided.
The division of Misamis Oriental is doing its best to continue up-lifting and spreading
education to all pupils by reorienting these teachers in literacy skills development in
the hope of aligning their teaching approaches for the 21 st century multi-grade
learners.

III. Objectives:

This training workshop aims to:

a. familiarize teachers with the content and features of the learning

materials provided;
b. orient teachers on how to use such materials effectively in the multi-
grade classrooms
c. and revisit teaching pedagogies in literacy skills development of the
multi-grade learners

IV. Training Methodologies:

The training shall be conducted to all Multi-grade teachers in the Division

of Misamis Oriental.
