CRUELLA THE MOVIE

THE MOVIE CRUELLA is a recently saw the 2021. I writing of this movie, because I identify with CRUELLA
With the death of her mother, Estella receives a tragic backstory and thanks to her humorous nature
and her initial existence as an outsider, sympathies for the character develop relatively quickly. When
Estella's alter ego, Cruella, first appears after less than an hour, an ambivalence creeps into her
character. Cruella is suddenly not the good one, but with her arrogant manners and mistreatment
towards her friends Jasper and Horace she always creates the necessary ambivalence. Cruella passes by
as a classic antihero, she's too nice towards the end to let the movie pass as a true prequel. Others will
have no problem with that as Cruella is much younger here and a sequel is suggested anyway.
