RIDA®STAMP – the easiest method of

performing hygiene monitoring on surfaces!
RIDA®STAMP is a ready-to-use agar plate for microbiological hygiene monitoring on flat surfaces.
Amongst standard parameters like “Total Count” or “Coliforms” there is also a broad variety of
special testing parameters available. The intelligent, contact safe and space saving design of the
petri dishes will help to make surface monitoring in your food producing facility much easier!

Each RIDA®STAMP plate consists of a 10 cm2 petri dish
with pedestal and winding tongues on the inner side
walls. These tongues ensure that the agar always keeps
in its place and no agar will get lost during sampling
procedure! The small size of the plates will save a lot of
space during storage and incubation.
Each specific agar consists of a more or less modified
standard medium with chromogenic substances,
if necessary for detection of colonies. Colonies are
counted after incubation and will give an indication
about the hygiene status of the sampled surface. In
comparison to many other providers of contact slides
or RHODAC® plates, RIDA®STAMP provides a variety of
special parameters for analysis like Bacillus cereus or
Pseudomonas, too.

How to use:

Open closure of plate and press agar against the surface. Close plate and incubate.

Plates can be used on flat surfaces as well as on solid foods!
