The culture, its values, norms and beliefs has been deeply imbedded within me and reflects my

perspective in life, my behavior, and even how I feel towards other people and how I treat them. As far
as I could remember these written and unwritten rules were injected on my mind much strictly than my
brother because I am a girl through punishments and even on reward system, giving instructions,
showing good role model or example which were set by my parents, the culture, my ccommunity, and
our country. All of these rules are somewhat limiting to others specially on girls like me but I always put
in my mind that all of these restrictions are for my own good and for the betterment of my future. There
are things that I can do, feel, say, think freely because of the liberty that we have but that doesn't mean
that I will use this liberty to the fullest and take advantage of it that may harm me or other people. What
I do, what I say may reflect the gender I belonged, my family, culture and society in a negative or
positive way. I am a woman and I will act like a woman, a dignified woman.
