Midterm: Seat work 3

Midterm lessons is all about Europe and it has 5 major regions: Northern Europe,
Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Southern Europe and Central Europe. Europe is the
second smallest of the world’s continents, composed of the westward projecting
peninsulas of Eurasia and occupying nearly one-fifteenth of the world’s total land area.
Also Europe is a continent located entirely in the Northern Hemisphere and mostly in
the Eastern Hemisphere. It comprises the westernmost peninsulas of the continental
landmass of Eurasia and what good about in Europe is it has an amazing travel
opportunities for both long and short term travel. I describe Europe as a “Peninsula of
Peninsulas.” A peninsula is a piece of land surrounded by water on three sides. Europe
is a peninsula of the Eurasian supercontinent and is bordered by the Arctic Ocean to the
north, the Atlantic Ocean to the west, and the Mediterranean, Black, and Caspian seas
to the south.

One of the best in Europe is it has an important rivers that connected in some regions.
First is Danube River, It is located in Central and Eastern Europe. It is Europe's second-
longest river. It is 2,850 km in length, and it flows through 10 countries: Germany,
Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Ukraine.
Second, The Rhine River It is the second-longest river in Central and Western Europe.
It flows through 6 countries: Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, Germany, France,
Netherlands. Third, The Seine, It has 776-kilometers long river and an important
commercial waterway within the Paris Basin in the north of France. Fourth, The Elbe
River, Rising in the Czech Republic, it flows north through Germany, ending in the North
Sea. Fifth, The Volga it is the longest river in Europe in terms of length, discharge, and
watershed. It flows through central Russia. It's 3,692 km long.
