People love to look amazing and flawless when it comes to doing their makeup. A great

source to find good information that teaches people how to do their makeup is on YouTube.

This platform is a useful source when looking for bloggers that can teach others an array of tips

about makeup. Something that is helpful for individuals is watching different vlogs that can

guide them on how to do their makeup. Some great YouTubers that do makeup tutorials are

James Charles, Reuben de Maid, and Nikkie de Jager. Even though these YouTubers have the

same content, they each one has its own unique way of doing makeup tutorials. Some of this

YouTubers can talk about what kind of products they are using to do their makeup. In other

words, they explain a specific product they are using in their video. Although these bloggers

make tutorial makeup videos, they each explain in different ways and methods to teach their

followers. These Youtubers each do unique content on their channels such as funny makeup

challenges.

To begin with, James Charles is one of the most fundamental people in social media

when it comes into doing flawless makeup. James Charles has a lot of makeup tutorials on his

YouTube channel that helps anyone that wants to learn more about makeup. Something that

makes James Charles unique from the other YouTubers is that he explains his makeup tutorials

in a more detailed way which makes it easier to understand. In fact, he has a specific YouTube

video for makeup beginners. In this video James Charles explains how to do eyebrows, eye

liner, eyeshadow, and how to put lashes. This video is very helpful for people that are just

starting to learn how to do their makeup because he explains step by step what you have to do.

In this video James Charles also gave some tips on where people can start doing their makeup.

For instance, he stated that, he likes to do his eyebrows before his eyeshadow because he can

get nice some eyebrows. He also gives advice on how to find the perfect shape of your

eyebrows so you can look better. In other words, he likes to give little tips on how individuals

can do their makeup better which can help them in one way or another. Usually when James

Charles does a makeup tutorial, he likes to describes every little thing he does when he is doing

his makeup. Which makes his tutorials easy to understand and helpful for people. He likes to

mention what kind of brushes he uses to blend in his makeup on his face. This is so important

when it comes to doing your makeup because they are different types of brushes that are used

for different things. This will defiantly help people understand what brush to use to blend an

Specific place on their face which will make their makeup look better. James Charles also gives

advice on how to perfectly blend the eyeshadow which is helpful for people to understand

what position they should move their brush so it will completely blend. James Charles states in

the video for beginners that he recommends to put very little of product on the brush and if

you need more then apply more. One of the reasons why he states this is because sometimes

your eyeshadow will look very dark which is not good. This is actually a great tip for people that

are learning how to do their eyeshadow for the first time. He also explains how people’s face

will look if they make their makeup a certain way, so this will help them think about how they

will look. James Charles is a great YouTuber that is really good at explaining makeup tutorials

and has great tips.

On the other hand, Reuben de Maid is a celebrity that also does makeup videos. Reuben

de Maid usually likes to focus more on making Reviews on different type of makeups and talks

about his opinion about the product he is using. Reuben de Maid likes to try different types of

products to show people which could be the best one. For example, One of the Review videos

that Reuben de Maid made was the Jeffree Star x Morphe Review. In this video Reuben de Maid

bought some brushes because he wanted to share his opinion towards this brushes. Reuben de

Maid described the color of the brushes and how the brushes felt. According to Reuben de

Maid the Jefree Star brushes was very silky and that he really liked how the first brush really did

blend in with the foundation. Reuben states in this review video that with the brush he used to

blend in the foundation there was no brush streaks which was great because it could be really

frustrating to blend them in. To blend in the concealer Reuben decided to use the js3 brush and

he stated that he also liked that brush. He states that the brushes he is using makes his face

look natural which means it is blending good. The third brush Reuben is Reviewing is the Js7

brush which is used for the eyebrows. According to him this brush has a really thin angle brush.

Reuben De Maid really enjoyed using the Js7 brush because it is making his eyebrows really

good. The fourth brush he is using is the Js5 brush which is used for the eyeshadow to do the

crease cut. According to Reuben he states that these brushes are fluffy and that they do blend

good. The Js6 brush can be good to pack in the eyeshadow because of the way its shaped.

Overall he really enjoyed using all the brushes from Jeffree Star and he stated that this brushes

didn’t make his face look “cakey.”

In Addition, Another YouTuber that likes to do makeup tutorials is Nikkie de Jager.

Nikkie de Jager focuses more on making funny makeup challenges one of the most popular

videos that she made was called “Random Numbers pick my makeup challenge.” This video was

really intresting because each of her products had a number from 1-5 and she had an app

where it would randomly choose a number between those five numbers. For instance, if the

app chooses the number 5 she would have to choose the product that is number five. Then

after getting that number, she had to apply it to her face. She did that to all the products she

had to apply in her face. Another challenge she did in her YouTube video was “Full Face Using

kids Makeup challenge.” This challenge was about only trying to do her makeup with only the

Makeup toy kids have. In this video Nikkie was only allowed to use the kids makeup. I saw that

it was really complicated for her to do this challenge since the makeup was hard to work with.

However, All of these youtubers are similar to each other in one way or another. For

Instance, James charles can relate to Reuben de Maid because in some videos he also likes to

do reviews on products he buy. One of the videos he made a review on was on “Crayola Crayon

makeup review”. In this video he talks about how he felt using the crayola pallet. He mainly

stated his opinions towards his experience using Crayola crayon makeup. One of the things

charles stated on his video was that the mascaras where actually good for him ,but he wouldn’t

recommend that product. Another thing he stated on the video is that the brush collection is

not worth it because it was to expensive four only four brushes. According to James Charles

opinion he stated that the Crayola Crayon makeup products took him too much time to do his

makeup. James Charles can also relate to Nikkie de Jagers because he also likes to do fun

challenges. One of the makeup videos that was a challenge he made was “ LED Lights makeup

Challenge.” In this video James Charles was doing his makeup with no bright light and instead

he used different light colors. This video was pertty intresting because he had to try his best to

do his makeup good which was hard because each time he would apply a new product the

room would change different color light.

As A result, Rueben De Maid also relates to both of this YouTubers. One of the ways

how Rueben De Maid can relate to James Charles is by the content he does. Even thought

Reuben De Maid doesn’t Does that much Makeup tutorials he still does. In fact, A great

example of a Makeup tutorial he did was the video “ Reuben de Maid’s First makeup tutorial.”

In this video Reuben teaches people how to do their makeup and gives advice on how people

should their makeup. Eventhought it was his first time doing a makeup tutorial it was still good.

Reuben de Maid can also relate to Nikkie de Jagar because he also did a makeup challenge

which was “The one Dip Challenge.” This challenge consists of only using one dip of the

makeup product. For instance, he is only allowed to dip his brush to the eyeshadow one time

and make it look good on his eyes. This was a super interesting challenge because it limits

Reuben the amount of makeup he can only use.

On top of that, I believe that Nikkie de Jagar also assosicateswith both YouTube

channels. For example, Nikkie has also done makeup tutorials just like James Charles. One

great makeup tutorial video she made was called “Full Flawless in Depth Makeup Tutorial.” On

this video she explained everything in a easy way to understand. This video would really help

the people that are beginners on doing their makeup. Nikkie de Jagar connects with Reuben De

maid because she also makes some makeup reviews. One Makeup review video she made was

called “ Jefree Star Cremated Pallet Review.” In this video Nikkie says her opinion about this

pallet. In other words, she describes how she felt using this product. She stated that the pallet

had a nice tone, but some of the eyeshadows might look the same in colors. She also stated

that it mainly has very little colors on the pallet.

In conclusion, All these three YouTubers relate to each other in very similar ways. Even

thought James Charles makes makeup tutorials, Reuben De Maid makes Makeup product

Reviews, and Nikkei de Jagar makes makeup challenges videos each YouTube channel has to do

with apply makeup and inform the followers about makeup.
