1. Terminology is a many-faceted subject being, depending on the perspective

from which it is approached and the affiliations of the person.
2. The translator is not concerned with Terminology in definition, theory,
although he may make use of its principles for the solution of translation
problems related to Terminology.
3. Considering the fact that characteristics and functioning of term depend
heavily on its lexical surrounding nowadays it is common to view as the
main object of terminology science not separate terms, but rather the whole
terminology used in some particular field of knowledge (also called subject
field).
4. In various classifications of terms, a term might receive a place in each of
the classes since categorizations are based on different aspects.
5. To make a term transparent, a key characteristic, usually a delimiting
characteristic is used in the creation of the term itself.
