Iffah : I’m doing great, and I feel very glad to be here today.

Iffah : Thank you to our lovely Ms. Moderator. According to my opinion, being
overweight or obese will lead to a serious laziness in our daily life. This issue is
doubtless because obese people always find it hard to move a lot and quickly
because of their accumulated ( A-Q-MU-LA-TED) fats. As a result, they will spend
their whole day sleeping and not doing anything. Other than that, being lazy will
make people unproductive. For instance, a worker who is obese may find it difficult
to attend to work and doing some tasks THAT GIVEN BY THEIR BOSS OR
MANAGER. This action will egffect their daily performance and also, in this problem,
overweight people can't participate in any games such as basketball, baseball, rugby
with their friends or other people. The reason is because all of these games need an
active and healthy person. According to the lifestyle, obese people spend their time
by watching movies, eating and playing video games which makes the situation
worse.

Besides, being an obese person will affect individual health. Carrying excess fat in
our body will lead to heart disease, diabetes and others. It is also will be difficult to
enjoy life by doing exercise, moving and more. All of these things can make a person
lack confidence, lack of self-esteem and will bring the person to eating disorder and
also depression. Lastly, Obesity and being overweight has many effects on the
individual and that’s really a bad thing because it will brings problem to the person
and also to the family or friends. That's all I have to say about it.

Iffah : I totally agree with Dr Ain. However, I would like to add my last point of view.
The other way to prevent obesity is to ensure that you are getting enough sleep. The
reason is because sleeplessness can lead to obesity in many different ways.
Referring to the study, people who lack enough sleep will become very tired from
moving a lot and the calories burned will be decreasing. In other ways, sleep
encourages people to take in more calories because when they are sleeping longer
and will have more wishes to eat more than usual. Sleeplessness also will make
people be hungrier than usual, especially in the middle of the night. In conclusion,
sleep is very important to keep our body healthy and prevent us from getting obesity
or being obese. That’s all my point of view today. Thank you
