Personal Trainer - PDCA Model

As a personal trainer, I have different clients that I train regularly, 3 times a week.

I've been thinking about a new type of training, but I'm not sure how to design it, to develop it.

Thus, I decided to use the PDCA method:

PLAN

I decided to offer a new training method on 4 clients.

I will test different versions of it and measure the weight loss and customer satisfaction of each version.

After 2 months, I will decide what changes I can make to each training method and I will be able to
repeat the entire process with 4 new clients.

I will repeat this cycle 3 times : I will need 6 months to see certain results.

DO

Every week, I am closely preparing the training of the 4 "special" clients, measuring:

Their satisfaction (with a simple and quick test).

Losing weight.

Their health in general.

CHECK

Every 2 months, I collect all the results obtained and I will decide what works best and what does not.

By doing this, I can introduce additional changes for the training of the new 4 clients.

ACT

Finally, I introduce the necessary changes for the new training programs and offer them to 4 different
clients.

RESULT:

After 6 months I reach a new efficient training that clients love.


Indicators that measure performance :

-number of users : 4, then another 4 , and so on.

-Searching time : After 2 months, I will decide what changes I can make to each training method and I
will be able to repeat the entire process with 4 new clients .

- 6 months to see certain results

-Databased used :

measuring:Their satisfaction (with a simple and quick test).

Losing weight.

Their health in general.

Every 2 months, I collect all t.he results obtained and I will decide what works best and what does not

CRITICAL POINTS

The new training proved to be too demanding.

The new workout coupled with the old one acts too much on a single muscle group.

The time required for the correct implementation of the new training exceeds the time (it's too much)
for a normal workout (it exceeds its time).

The new type of training proved to be correct for the 4 trained but the gym does not have the capacity
for more people with this type of training.

IMPROVING CRITICAL POINTS

For the application of the new training, the repetitions from the other workouts can be reduced in
number.

The new training changes so that it is harmoniously coupled with the other workouts, in terms of muscle
groups.

Depending on the importance of each workout and the application of workouts on muscle groups, the
times in workouts that require similar muscle groups can be reduced.

Reorganization of the training room so that the training circuit allows the involvement of more people.
