How to Make Friends at University

Almost every new student worries about making friends at university, there are several ways
to make friends at university. First, you can creating a study group, besides getting college friends,
you also get friends to study together. Try sitting down next to someone and introducing yourself or
try to start a conversation first, and you also can invite people out for lunch together to the university
canteen. Next, you can join communities at the university, in community you will also find new
friends from various majors. But, you have to find a community that suits you or you are interested in.
When you enter university life you also have to get out of your comfort zone like to make
friend with new people you meet at university. Important thing’s you have to remember in making
friends at university. First, you have to remember your friends name, it’s kinda hard when you’re
meeting so many people at once but you have to. Next, respond with care and interest to your friends
conversation, for example don’t play your cellphone when your friends is talking to you.
In making friends at university you can’t do something like judging people, you will meet a
lot of people with various traits and you have to be ready for that and don’t judge them just because
they’re different to you. Next, become someone you’re not, you don’t need to change yourself to
impress people, they will appreciate you for being your authentic self.
