Introduction and Objectives:

This Field Study is designed to provide FS students with Opportunities to connect teaching-

learning theories and principles discussed in Principles of Teaching 1 with actual room

practice. It is intended to help the FS student observe how these principles of teaching and

learning are applied by the Resource Teacher to make the teaching – learning process

interactive, Meaningful, exciting and enjoyable.

Executive Summary

It was on Tuesday November 20 I first visited the Toro Hills Elementary School for my FS

observation. It is located at 12 Aberdeen St, Project 8, Quezon City. Together with my

fellow PNU schoolmates who also conduct their FS observation in the same school. Ms.

Iona the secretary of the Principal assists us to our assigned classroom. Luckily we are

assigned to a Grade 6 class where the major subject is Araling Panlipunan, my

specialization. The teacher assigned to us is Mrs. Real and Mrs. Dela Cruz both social

studies major. All in all my Field Study experience was a meaningful, exciting and

enjoyable.
